The inspiration for the jewelry in this collection comes from the work of two talented glass lampwork bead artists. I love everything about their glass lampwork beads. Just holding them in my hand and listening to the clink as one bead falls against the next makes me happy!
Susan Barnes of The Fire Goddess has been designing and creating handmade jewelry for over 30 years and is one of the leading lampwork artists in the United States. A virtuoso in the art of lampworking, she has been at the torch for over 12 years and has developed her own eclectic style.
Margaret Spears of Countless Creations is also a talented lampworker. Margaret’s beads are beautiful and fresh. Best of all, she lives just minutes from my house. I love to watch her at the torch, melting the glass and spinning it on the mandrel. The process is amazing.
